International Gita Conference 2025 – Call for Papers
The International Gita Conference 2025 invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners from across the globe to submit original research papers that explore the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita in contemporary, philosophical, cultural, and applied contexts. The conference provides a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue, fostering deeper understanding of Swadharma, ethics, leadership, sustainability, and human well-being, as illuminated in the Gita.
We welcome contributions that are theoretical, empirical, philosophical, textual, or practice-oriented, addressing the rich and diverse dimensions of the Gita and its relevance in today’s world.

Abstract Submission Guidelines
• Length: 300–400 words
• Language: English, Hindi, or Sanskrit
• Please Include the following:
o Paper title
o Name(s) of author(s) and affiliation(s)
o Email address
o 4–6 keywords
o Preferred theme/track
o Short biography (50–60 words)
• Submission deadline: 31st October 2025
• Notification of acceptance: 05th November, 2025
Abstract instructions
• Clearly articulate the research problem, objectives, methodology, and key contributions.
• Abstracts must be original and not submitted elsewhere.
• Proper citations should be included for any referenced work.
Full Paper Submission
• Word limit: 6,000–8,000 words (including references)
• Format: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing; APA 7th edition style (or as per journal instructions)
• Submission deadline: 15th November 2025
Full paper guidelines
• Structure the manuscript with Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Findings/Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
• Include tables, figures, or images with proper labeling and placement.
• Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and free from plagiarism.
• Authors are expected to follow ethical guidelines in research and writing.
Peer Review & Publication
• All submissions will undergo a rigorous blind peer review process.
• High-quality papers will be invited for publication in the conference proceedings or a special edited volume.
• Authors may be asked to revise their submissions in response to reviewer feedback prior to final acceptance.
• Selected papers may also be considered for special issues in partner journals – Kurukshetra University Research Journal & Journal of Haryana Studies. We are in communication with journals indexed in Scopus/ Web of Science, etc. The successful collaborations will be notified on the website.
• Upon receipt of sufficient number of high quality research papers, we will submit a proposal to international publishers to publish the proceedings indexed in Scopus/ Web of Science/ SSCI, etc.
Additional Notes
• Authors may submit more than one abstract, but each must present original, distinct research.
• Submissions should align with the conference themes and ethical standards of academic research.
• The conference encourages contributions from scholars of diverse disciplines and cultural backgrounds, fostering an inclusive and global dialogue on the Gita.

Poster submissions
Posters will be displayed in the Crush Hall and authors will present during designated poster session.
Guidelines for poster presentation
• All the participants are requested to prepare their posters that should not exceed the dimensions of 25” x 40” 1.0 × 1.5 m (length × width)
• Use single portrait sheet for poster.
• Font Size: Title- 86pt, Authors-50pt, Subheading-36pt, Text-24 pt, Caption-18pt
• Font of the text- Times New Roman
• Presenting author must be registered for the conference.
• Underline the presenting authors name
• Poster must include the title, Authors Name, Email address, Affiliation, Introduction, Material and Methods, Results and Discussion and Conclusion.
• Clear pictures, diagrams, graphs and short tables are highly encouraged to use.
• Materials for mounting will be provided.
• Refer to your acceptance letter and/or the final conference program for the time and location of your poster session and set-up time.
• The designated poster presenter (author or co-author) must be present at the assigned space during the designated time to discuss the work presented.
The presenting authors are allowed to collect their posters after the program is over. The organizing committee will not be responsible for any loss or damage to his/her posters
